ReadWebCo.com is owned by Dave Read and located in Lenox, MA, where Read created his first website in 1997, NewBerkshire.com, an online magazine publishing reviews of performances at Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co., Jacob's Pillow, the Berkshire and Williamstown Theatre Festivals, Barrington Stage Co., Chester Theatre Co., and others.

Dave Read moved to the Berkshires in 1981 to take a position as an English teacher at a residential school for emotionally disturbed and learning disabled adolescents. He continued working in special education and human services through 1995.

Before starting his Internet business, Read did public relations and marketing work for cultural and performing arts organizations.

Dave Read, a native of Oswego, NY, is currently a member of the Pittsfield CityJazz Festival committee and the St. Ann Parish Council, and a past member of the Pittsfield Irish Sister City Committee.
